سيوة هى واحة مصرية موجودة ما بين منخفض القطارة و بحر الرمال المصرى فى الصحرا الغربية. بين سيوة و القاهرة 560 كم و بينها وبين الحدود الليبية حوالى 50 كم.السيويين(اهل سيوة) عددهم 23,000 ومعظمهم من البربر و بيتكلمو سيوى .
السيوى هى لغة من عيلة اللغات البربريه. السيوين حافظو على تميزهم الثقافي و اتمسكو بتقاليدهم اللى بترجع لاكتر من تلات -ت-الاف سنة و اللى ساعدهم على كدا هو بعدهم الجغرافي عن وادي النيل و قلة اختلاطهم بالناس اللى من بره الواحة بتاعتهم. من اشهر الحاجات الموجودة فى سيوة معبد امون و اللى بقاياه لسة موجودة لحد دلوقتى و بيعتبر من اهم الحاجات اللى بتجذب السواح ليها. الزراعة هى الشغلانة الاساسية لمعظم السيويين دلوقتي و هما بيزرعو الزتون و البلح و الملوخية اكتر حاجة. اخيرا السياحة ابتدت تنتعش فى سيوة و شوية شوية بدأت تظهر على الخريطة السياحية بتاعة مصر و اتبنت هناك فنادق و منتجعات علشان تستقبل السواح دول اللى اكترهم من الغربيين.
